1. Who We Are
Mineral.Locker is a service operated by Our Landmen LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company located at 1501 S. Greeley Hwy, Ste C #1363, Cheyenne, WY 82007. In this policy, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Our Landmen LLC.
2. Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Account information: Name, email address, mailing address, phone number.
- Mineral ownership details: County, legal description, mineral interest type, and related records you submit for protection.
- Payment information: Billing details processed through our third-party payment provider. We do not store credit card numbers on our servers.
- Communications: Messages, violation reports, and correspondence you send to us.
Information Collected Automatically
- Device and browser data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
- Usage data: Pages visited, time on site, referral source, and click behavior.
- Cookies: Small data files stored on your device to enable site functionality and analytics. See Section 5.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Operate and deliver the Mineral.Locker records vault and Do Not Solicit registry.
- Mail the monthly consolidated registry notice to known mineral buyers via USPS Certified mail.
- On paid plans, monitor public records for activity affecting your interests, generate customer-signed demand letters from your evidence file, and remove your information from people-search sites.
- Track delivery receipts, buyer replies, and reported events as evidence in your file.
- Process payments and manage your account.
- Communicate with you about your account, service updates, and support requests.
- Improve our services and develop new features.
- Comply with legal obligations.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:
- Mineral buyers (registry notice only): Your name and county are included on the monthly Do Not Solicit roster mailed to known mineral buyers. This is a core function of the Service — the entire purpose is to formally notify buyers not to contact you. Your contact details (address, phone, email) are not shared with buyers.
- Service providers: The United States Postal Service (Certified Mail and return receipts), print-and-mail vendors used for letter fulfillment, electronic signature services, identity-protection vendors used to remove your information from people-search sites, and cloud infrastructure providers used to host the document vault and account dashboard.
- Payment processors: To process your subscription payments and a-la-carte charges.
- Counsel of your choice: If you choose to export your Counsel-Ready Evidence Package, you control where the file is sent. We do not transmit your evidence to any attorney without your explicit instruction.
- Legal compliance: When required by law, subpoena, or court order.
Trust firewall: Mineral.Locker does not sell owner information to mineral buyers. If you choose, separately and explicitly, to receive purchase offers, that activity is handled by a separately branded sister DBA under a distinct opt-in. Mineral.Locker itself never doubles as a buyer-side product.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies for site functionality and analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) to understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect some features of the site.
6. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and at rest. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Registry records (certified mailings sent on your behalf, USPS return receipts, buyer replies, reported events) are retained indefinitely because they may serve as evidence if you choose to pursue a claim. Documents you upload to the vault remain in the vault until you delete them or close your account.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate information in your account.
- Delete your account and personal information, subject to our legal retention obligations.
- Withdraw from the Do Not Solicit registry at any time. Withdrawal removes your name from the next monthly mailing; prior mailings already delivered cannot be unsent.
To exercise these rights, contact us at the address in Section 11.
9. Children's Privacy
Mineral.Locker is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us for removal.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
