About Us

Built by Landmen

We didn't build a tech company and then learn about minerals. We spent years in courthouses, reading deeds and running title. We built the tool we wished we had.

Our Story

We Know the Buyers by Name

We've spent years as professional landmen — the people who work in county courthouses across Texas, reading deeds, tracing mineral ownership chains, and running title for oil & gas companies.

Along the way, we saw the same names over and over: serial mineral buyers who pull ownership records and then relentlessly contact mineral owners with lowball offers. They rotate through shell companies, change phone numbers, and apply pressure tactics specifically designed to target inherited and elderly owners.

We know who they are. We know their company names, their registered agents, their county-level operations. And we built Mineral.Locker to use that knowledge to protect people.

Why This Works

What Makes Us Different

We Know the Industry

We're not a tech startup guessing at your problem. We've worked both sides of the table and know exactly how serial buyers operate — the pressure tactics, the shell companies, the targeting patterns.

Active Buyer Database

We maintain the most comprehensive database of serial mineral buyers operating across Texas. Over 50 buyers tracked by name, company, and county. Updated regularly as new buyers enter the market.

Legally Defensible

Every letter, every delivery receipt, every escalation step — designed from the start to be admissible evidence. We built the documentation system a Texas attorney would want to see.

The Problem We Saw

Nobody Was Doing Anything About It

Mineral owners — especially those who inherited their rights — are getting 3-5 calls a week from serial buyers. These aren't random phone calls. These are targeted campaigns built from public courthouse records.

Blocking a number doesn't work — they rotate. Asking to be removed doesn't work — they just use a different company name. And the companies that claim to "protect" your property rights? They just monitor. They charge $20/month to watch the problem happen.

We decided to build something that actually stops it.

Launching in Texas First

Texas is where we know the buyers best — across the Permian Basin, Eagle Ford, Haynesville, and every active O&G region in between. Oklahoma, Louisiana, New Mexico, and North Dakota are on our roadmap for 2026-2027.
